You mentioned something about lousy songs don't survive the top twenty let alone the final four in these strips. That quote sounded like you were saying all the other songs that did not make it to the top 20 are lousy .

No. There are lots of great songs on these lists, and a few that aren't so great. I've not seen any of the not so great ones survive to the last few.

What I actually enjoy most about these games is that I have the ability to consign a board favourite that I personally dislike to oblivion. "There, take that!" I'm sure that's what other players like too. Your one vote really counts!

The statement that lousy songs don't survive to the top twenty does NOT imply that good songs must survive to the top twenty. The statement only implies that all the songs in the top twenty are good songs. But a good song may not necessarily survive to the top twenty. In fact many don't.
