Well, sorry, but I don't do Facebook. I'll miss you guys and girls (I think there were two or three), but, no.

Some of us are regulars over at the Steve Hoffman forums, I'll be hanging out there as usual.

Will miss interacting with you too Always amazed how we could completely agree on some things (e.g., ABB) and completely disagree on others (e.g., Jeff Beck). Makes for interesting discussion

Music is very subjective. As they say, different strokes for different folks.

The only "negative" associated with the Steve Hoffman forums is they're very heavily moderated. For example "thread crapping" is not allowed, i.e. posting that you hate Queen in a thread devoted to Queen LPs.

This is in stark contrast to another very active music forum, Blackcatbone - bcb-board.co.uk, where there is basically no moderation and even political discussions are allowed.

You have a point about Steve Hoffman's being over-moderated, but I think that's preferable to no moderation, you end up like the comments section on YouTube, with people trying to out-moron each other. FWIW, I have thread-crapped at Steve Hoffman's and survived.

Re: The Final Train Wreck! Day 61

It's been a great ride. I've been hanging around since the "Dwight days" I remember being a moderator for the Pink Floyd forums years ago. I also remember being "The Official Voice" of CRF Radio back when Dwight had a streaming station. I also remember many of you guys listening to me when the radio station I worked at streamed over the internet. So many fine memories.

I'm happy to have gotten to know many of you here on CRF and CRF2 over the years. Many whom I haven't heard from since the "early days" of these forums. Too many to name - all great people!

I've learned a great deal being a participant on these forums. Most importantly, I've learned to accept and enjoy different eras and types of music. It's really broadened my horizons and made me "dig a little deeper" in the record (and/or CD bin) to discover something different and exciting. I wouldn't have a clue if it wasn't for these forums.

Thanks again gang! Hopefully we'll run into eachother again in the future - God Bless and thanks for the memories :)

It's been a great ride!

P.S. Hightea - I'm still waiting for that CD

Hi guys I've been away for a long time but I'm very sad to read this.

Anyway, let's keep positive, it's been a pleasure to talk with you all this time and I've discovered lots of good music. So thanks to all of you who have kept this forum alive and I'll try to post a little more this last month
