Considering who some of the members of Journey were (Neal Schon, Gregg Rolie) I could never get into any of their music. That being said, I was never a big J. Geils Band fan either. I will say I can enjoyably listen to more of J. Geils Band's stuff than Journey's. I always considered the J. Geils Band a pumped up 'bar' band. I saw them once at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston. They were good but I just felt like I wanted a beer. Any way J. Geils Band gets my vote.

J Geils Band.....as dwill123 said ,Journey had some good players when they started but never really appealed to me in what they were doing.

This one's easy for me since I don't much like Journey and the J. Geils Band really caught my attention with the hits I included in my opening post.
