"Flipside Favourites"
If inclined, post some B-Sides you like... Double A-Sides and those titled C/W also...
Starting with a Stateside song that caused controversy.. The Who - A Legal Matter. |

Re: "Flipside Favourites"
This song reminds me of the stack spindle, that dropped another 45 down once the cue arm had returned... ideal set-up when vertical with lights low and... lady.
Dave Brock wrote this fitting tune and is the B-side to Silver Machine. Hawkwind - Seven By Seven. |

Re: "Flipside Favourites"
As Led Zep didn't release singles in Britain, the imports were expensive and only came in Swan Song or Atlantic bags. This is superior to the A - side, Candy Store Rock.
Led Zeppelin - Royal Orleans. |

Re: "Flipside Favourites"
Tunes such as this take me back to about 1980, I'd just arrived back in England and was working a club six nights a week, with every second Tuesday off- I'd sleep in the club( which was haunted) wash in the huge sinks in the kitchen and catch the 7:am train to London... with a record list and bulging pockets!
Anything by The Vogues or Victor Moulton & co was fair game-flipsides by The Seeds, 13th Floor Elevators were and was a new sound to me... this on the Laurie label was better than Are You A Boy..... The Barbarians - Take It Or Leave It. |

Re: "Flipside Favourites"
My old Garrard got plenty of this: including Lucky Man on the A... which came in a picture sleeve no less.. a Woolworths purchase!

Re: "Flipside Favourites"
God Only Knows by The Beach Boys is just amazing. I can see why it was on the B-Side but I just like it better.
