Bin' playing stuff that's not too obtrusive - but not exactly lift music... or 'muzac'.
Bent Sten put this Danish band together and this album is the dogs bollocks.

My Ship - Plastic.

Re: Obscure Music: Rock, Jazz, etc

... Somewhat overshadowed by the one tune can often be a curse... this '68 album is pretty good and features Jim Horn and James Burton.

Mason Williams - Here Am I.

Re: Obscure Music: Rock, Jazz, etc

A weird and wonderful band... this one. Reputed to have been funded and assisted by Jagger & Richard... certainly Bobby Keyes, Jim Horn and Mick Jagger do play. Paul Olsen was then drafted in when a tour loomed-
Proto Punk, it's titled now- but I don't favour labels. But for 1971 this album was at least 5 years ahead of the game.

Third World War - M.I.5's Alive.

Never heard of that one.....fun rough edged rock. A link to their web page https://www.stardomroad.com/firstalbum.html
They don't mention Jagger or Richards, but Price and Keys are listed.
Also Stamp was connected to Harsh Reality which I have on cd.... 1969-70

Re: Obscure Music: Rock, Jazz, etc

^^yeah I don't know why Mick and Keith don't talk more about it. It was the Barnes connection (as Olympic Studio's was there.) Maybe they thought it was under par? Keith and Mick never sessioned like Blackmore, Page or John Paul Jones... but"jammed when stoned" on plenty.
