I seem to recall Tony Sanchez was a croupier back in the day, the water rats story is hilarious.. hence 'Live With Me', which I believe is about Tony... partly.

As a 50 year Stones fanatic, those compilation albums I collect as a completist... Obvs an anorak like me digs deeper than Hot Rocks or Rolled Gold.

These I like....
Dear Doctor
Parachute Woman
Jigsaw Puzzle
Straycat Blues
Factory Girl
Salt of the Earth
Sway
Bitch
Sister Morphine

the rest of the earlier ones don't do anything for me.

Hmmmm. You don't seem to like much Top Forty music before the evolution of album-oriented rock began in 1967-68. Well I do. I appreciate a lot of the two and a half minute songs the Rolling Stones and other artists released prior to the late 1960's.

They're actually approaching sixty years now - depending upon what you consider to be their start date.

I like much of it ...used to have stacks of 45's....those early Stones songs you listed simply aren't that good imo.
