Well...'garage rock' referred to music made by early bands in the 60's who started up in their' parents garages' to practice and write their early hit(s).
Just because a band is not mainstream...

I have a single disc medium priced Sony player that's about 10 years old.
A few years back I thought about getting a 5 or 10 disc changer but I never listen to music for that long anyway.

Another great Brit psych pop song that should have been big from 1968 but lost in all the stuff coming out then......they turned into Patto...a proto prog band that was also obscure.
