I went to salvation army yesterday (I go alot) and over by the records saw about 20 8 tracks some lady brought in the day before!! (I havent been to that one in about a week)

These were in BETTER shape than any 8 track I ever found @ salvation army!!

I got 2 cartridges

1) Bee Gees Gold - Volume 1
2) The Moody Blues - Seventh Sojourn

Pure analogue glory

Re: What music did you LAST buy?

Since my mom told me she's getting me a new record player for Christmas I decided I'd start beefing up my LP collection a little early. Just ordered these four on Amazon:

London Fog 1966 -- The Doors
Pod -- The Breeders
Burzum/Aske -- Burzum
Totem -- White Suns

I ordered London Fog 1966 -- The Doors from Amazon back in October and it still hasn't shipped.

Jethro Tull - Stand Up, the new Steven Wilson remix. Sounds great.

Last two record buys:

Big Brother & The Holding Co. - Cheap Thrills (for the cover)
Jackie DeShannon - Songs (1971, seemingly never played vinyl)

Re: What music did you LAST buy?

I have been buying a lot lately but the last one would be an April Wine box that has 6 albums in it.

Re: What music did you LAST buy?

Life, by Schiller (2003, 2004)
The CD + Bonus DVD US release

Schiller is a German electronic composer and musician. His music is
catagorized as Electropop, downtempo, trance, chilltrance.

I discovered this artist while searching for Sara Brightman stuff.

Turns out, he never provides vocals to his music, but has an extensive list
of singers recruited for his albums (one of them being Ms. Brightman)

Re: What music did you LAST buy?

Always on the lookout for new (to me) old music. Radio Stars were a punk, new wave, glam band from the late '70s. I'm really digging the box set.
